Here’s a look at the new “Ecstacy Hi Fafi” it is part or the adidas Originals movement. This time the collaborated with French graffiti artist, Fafi. Fafi is known for her whimsical and provocative character styling.  As you can see these are not for the boring, they Liberace fabulous. The Ecstacy Hi is ultra-fab in so many ways they feature multicolored sequins mixed with metallic lavender and powder blue leather, with silver logos on the ankle.

Taking it back to where it all began… is the tag line that summarizes Hellz Bellz latest collection. The line was inspired by the city of NY and it’s immense variety of cultures, hip hop, punk, Yuppy chic, Manhatten cool .  This collection is very radiant and has an array of textures and patterns.

“Taking it back to where it all began… NYC of course,the collection was inspired by the cultural melting pot itself, bringing to you a collection full of vibrant colors and patterns, uniting and bridging cultural boundaries. The line features a brushed french terry pullover hoodie with triangle jacquard triangle rib and “Natural Born Badass” embroidery on the back, a zebra mesh jacket w/ contrast pop red lining, the much anticipated acid wash denim jacket with “HELLZ” and broken bottle embroidered artwork on the back, along with fashion tops, tanks, graphic tees and multi-colored leggings.”

Legendary French textile designers Paule Marrot put his distinct touch on the Summer 2009 release of the Nike “Skinny Dunk.”  Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920 and  was once praised the the Brittish Royal Fam. The Nike is for the female who loves authenticity that fits with her wardrobe.  The Paule Marrot Editions Skinny Dunk Collection include textiles featuring “Aurore” with Butterflies and Feathers and the “Les Cerises” prints in  two colorways in all-over prints of Cherries.

This spring the Converse by John Varvatos campaign marks the “Get Chucked” debut of Sarah Ruba, top model and founding member of the electro-soul band New Look! Fashion photographer Keiron O’Connor was inspired by artistic camaraderie and energy, captures a mood of optimism and youthful irreverence, resulting in a series of images that incorporate an evolved design aesthetic reflecting the creative environment of an artist.

The images were shot in a downtown artists loft space for the company’s premium men’s and women’s apparel and footwear collections.

The Spring 2009 men’s and women’s collections continues with the rock ‘n roll edge offering a range of high-end vintage inspired knits, tops, graphic tees, dresses, sweaters, tailored jackets, denim, woven bottoms, leathers and outerwear pieces.

The collection will be available nationwide at specialty retailers, department stores and online at www.converse.com this month.
