Legendary French textile designers Paule Marrot put his distinct touch on the Summer 2009 release of the Nike “Skinny Dunk.”  Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920 and  was once praised the the Brittish Royal Fam. The Nike is for the female who loves authenticity that fits with her wardrobe.  The Paule Marrot Editions Skinny Dunk Collection include textiles featuring “Aurore” with Butterflies and Feathers and the “Les Cerises” prints in  two colorways in all-over prints of Cherries.

This spring the Converse by John Varvatos campaign marks the “Get Chucked” debut of Sarah Ruba, top model and founding member of the electro-soul band New Look! Fashion photographer Keiron O’Connor was inspired by artistic camaraderie and energy, captures a mood of optimism and youthful irreverence, resulting in a series of images that incorporate an evolved design aesthetic reflecting the creative environment of an artist.

The images were shot in a downtown artists loft space for the company’s premium men’s and women’s apparel and footwear collections.

The Spring 2009 men’s and women’s collections continues with the rock ‘n roll edge offering a range of high-end vintage inspired knits, tops, graphic tees, dresses, sweaters, tailored jackets, denim, woven bottoms, leathers and outerwear pieces.

The collection will be available nationwide at specialty retailers, department stores and online at www.converse.com this month.

Nike’s latest Quickstrike package release consist of two new colors of the Nike Vandals for the Fall season. This is a women’s release,  yes; they were actually created specially for the Sneaker Chicks out there. Both pair feature bright colored stitching and shiny leather and have a slight Dr Marting boot  them. The Nike swoosh along the side panels are constructed from leather, and the colors available include a Concord edition and a Black colorway. The concord colorway also features black and yellow accents, while the black pair has some aqua colored accents.

Once again we have been slacking on our news for the ladies, so today present a new Dunk Premium that was made exclusively for the Queens of the world. They feature a full metallic silver make up with octagon print along the side and toe panel. The sneakers don’t feature any baby blue, but the blue laces adds some nice pop to these kicks. The Octagon Dunk Hi’s are now available at a Nike retailer near you for $105, but our buddies at IceSole currently has them in stock.
